Convention results and COD obtained!

It's been a busy few months. Sorry that we haven't posted sooner.

Anyway, we're back from the ARBA National Convention and wanted to share the current news.

First, our teddy results:
There were 74 Teddies entered; you can find the full counts here: http://www.glrcs.com/
We didn't win Best of Breed or anything so grand, but we did get BOV and BOSV for Solid Group A and Solid Group B. That's something we're happy about since we're competing mostly against the best of the best.

Solid Group A winners :

BOV Frosty

BOSV Diabolique (this pic is old, she's much bigger now)

AND THAT'S NOT ALL THE NEWS

Shortly before convention, we officially received the Certificate of Development for Tan Teddies. As soon as I get the new website revisions up (which should be any day) the COD, the working standard and lots of pictures will all be available on a new TANS page. If you're interested in helping us with this project or just want to ask questions, please email us.

That's all for now.

New Arrivals

Since my last posting, we have had two lovely litters arrive at the Briar Patch. Cinnamon Chip delivered two wonderful little sows on April 24. One is a cream roan and the other is red.

On May 2, Silvery Moon delivered three cute little babies. There are two sows, one black & one tortoiseshell. There is also a solid golden roan boar.

News from the Briar Patch

Our lovely solid silver sow, Kalypso, was awarded BOSB at the show held in Rhinebeck, NY on April 21, 2007.

We are expecting new litters in the coming weeks and will have babies in several varieties .......roans, solids and selfs. Check back for updates. If you are interested in babies, drop us a note soon. Babies are often sold long before their 'pigtures' appear here.

It's a brand new blog

Welcome to the all new blog. We thought it would be easier to post the news this way. Hopefully that means we'll actually post it with some regularity. Keep your fingers crossed.
